How to obtain full access to LRC Online resources

Students:
If you have not physically been into College before:

In order to access all resources you will need to activate your student account. This is a one-off process and, due to security measures, will need to be done by phone.
Please phone the IT helpdesk on 01623 627191 ext 8001 and give your student number (found on your enrolment form – the first three digits of your surname and an eight-digit number), you will then be asked for your name.
You will be asked to choose a password which the support staff will enter. This will be your password for the duration of your programme.
Alternatively you can email helpdesk@wnc.ac.uk with your phone number and they will ring you back. You must speak to our support team to authorise the initial password.

If you have previously been on campus and are now working remotely due to the current restrictions please use your college username and password

Anatomy.TV is an interactive digital learning tool that comprises 20 fully interactive body-system modules. It includes interactive 3D models, narrated animations and illustrations, pronunciation guides, dissection slides, and other multimedia; as well as more than 250 clinical topics and case studies. Students and staff may include parts in teaching materials and assignments, referencing the title and copyright owner of the licensed material.

Contains built in tutorials featuring text, videos & sound explaining how to use Primal Pictures.

British Library Sounds
British Library Sounds presents 90,000 unique sound recordings which come from all over the world and cover the entire range of recorded sound: music, drama and literature, oral history, wildlife and environmental sounds. Students and staff can listen to all recordings online; most recordings can be downloaded for academic use, referencing the title and copyright owner of the material used.

Hairdressing Training provides step-by-step guidance videos, self-evaluation tests, worksheets and guides relating to an expanding collection of hairdressing styles and techniques; the service is mapped to the NVQ Hairdressing curriculum.

MediaPlus
MediaPlus provides access to Teachers TV from Education in Video which includes 3,816 globally-acclaimed instructional videos produced by the United Kingdom's Department of Education to train and develop teachers' skills through demonstrations and commentary by teachers, administrators, and other educational experts.
